Notes:

1.To reinstall the password, the user must enter a password in the Setup Utility.

2.Disabling the power on password reconfigures the system. Run the

Setup Utility to clear any 16X errors.

3. To determine if the machine you are servicing has the Power Management feature enabled, run the Setup Utility and check to see if Power Management is enabled (Suspend Timer not off and APM

Connection Enabled).

Flash diskette

for a README file and

if

present,

review

it for

any

model-specific

1. Power-off the computer.

2. Insert the Flash diskette into diskette drive A.

3.Power-on the computer.

4.Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the flash (BIOS) update procedure.
