2.4 Development Strategy2.4.1 Supported Tool Buckets
For developing and debuggin g software application, the p roduction version of the IQ 80321 kit
includes the Code|Lab Development Environment. Support for the Co de|Lab development
environment is available from ATI*. Please refer to the enclosed package.
The kit also contains evaluation copies for several Software Development Tools. These tools are for
evaluation purposes and do not include any s upport. Please contact the vendor directly for ad ditional
information and support. They include:
•ARM Developer Suite (ADS) and ARM Firmware Suite (AFS)
•Redhat* GNUPro tools
•LynuxWorks* Embedde d Linux RTOS and Development Tools
•Monta Vista* Embedded Linux R TOS and Development Tools
•WindRiver* VxWorks* RTOS and Tornado* Development Tools
•Accelerated Technology Inc*, Nucleu s Plus* RTOS and Development Tools
2.4.2 Contents of the Flash
The production version of the board contains a trio image for Redhat Redboot*, ARM Angel*, and
ATI Code|Lab Monitor. All early sample/engineering boards have the Redboot target monitor.
