Troubleshooting

1 Remove the paper jammed at the MP tray.

2 Reload the MP tray. Open and close the top cover to clear the error and the machine warms up and resumes printing.

Paper Cassette/Paper Feeder

Follow the steps below to clear paper jams in paper cassette or paper feeder.

1 Pull out the cassette or optional paper feeder.

2 Remove any partially fed paper.

IMPORTANT: Do not try to remove paper that has already been partially fed. Proceed to Inside the Machine on page 10-14.

NOTE: Check to see if paper is loaded correctly. If not, reload the paper.

3 Push the cassette back in securely. The machine warms up and resumes printing.

Duplexer

Paper is jammed in the duplexer. Remove the jammed paper using the procedure given below.

1 Pull the paper cassette all the way out of the machine.
