Error Messages

The meter displays specific error messages when it detects a problem with its internal functions, the test strip, or the testing proce- dure. However, the meter cannot detect all problems. For those problems the meter can detect, it may not produce an error message every time the problem occurs.

When an error message appears, note the error number, turn off the meter, and then resolve the error by following the instruc- tions in the “What to Do” column. If you continue to get an error message after fol- lowing the instructions, call the OneTouch® Customer Care Line at 1 800 663–5521.
