depending on the hardware and software in the system. Use the manuals
you haveas follows:
•Getting Started with SCXI—If you are using SCXI, this is the first
manualyou should read. It gives an overview of the SCXI system and
contains the most commonly needed information for the modules,
chassis,and software.
•TheSCXI hardware user manuals—If you are using SCXI, read these
manuals nextfor d etailed information about signal connections and
module configuration.They also explain in greater detail how the
module works and contain application hints.
•SCXICh assis Manual—If you are using SCXI, read this manual for
maintenance information on the chassis and installation instructions.
•The DAQhardware user manuals—These manuals have detailed
information about the DAQhardware that plugs into or is connected
to the computer.Use these manuals for hardware installation and
configurationinstructions, specification inform ation about the DAQ
hardware,and app lication hints.
•Software documentation—Examples of software documentation you
mayhave are the LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVIdocumentation sets
andthe NI-DAQ documentation. After you set up the hardware system,
use either the application software (LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI)
