UPDATE*Signal
AnyPFI pin can externally i nput the UPDATE* signal, which is available
asan ou tput on the PFI5/UPDATE* pin.
Asan input, the UPDATE*signal is configured in the edge-detection mode.
Youcan select any PFI pin as the source for UPDATE*and configure the
polarity selection for either rising or falling edge. The selected edge of
theUPDATE* signal updates the outputsof the DACs. In order to use
UPDATE*,you must set the DACs to posted-update mode.
As anoutput, theUPDATE*signal reflects the actual update pulse that is
connectedto the DACs, even if the updates are being externally generated
byanother PFI. The outpu t isan active low pulse with a pulse width of
300 to 350 ns. This output is set to high-impedance at startup.
