Table4-2. I/OSignal Summary for theATE Series

SignalName Reference Direction Description
AIGND Analog Input GroundThese pins are the reference point
forsingle-ended measurements and the bias current return
pointfor differential measurements. All three ground
referencesAIGND,AOGND, and DGNDare connected
togetheron the AT E Series device.
ACH<0..15> AIGND Input AnalogInput Channels 0 through 15Each channel pair,
ACH<i, i+8> (i= 0..7), can be configured as either one
differentialinput or two single-ended inputs.
ACH<16..63> AIGND Input AnalogInput Channels 16 through 63 (AT-MIO-64E-3
only)Eachchannel pair, ACH<i,i+8> (i= 16..23, 32..39,
48..55),can be configured as either one differential input or
twosingle-ended inputs.
AISENSE AIGND Input AnalogInput SenseThispinservesasthereferencenode
forany of channels ACH <0..15> in NRSE configuration.
AISENSE2 AIGND Input AnalogInput Sense (AT-MIO-64E-3 only)This pin serves
asthe reference node for any of channels ACH <16..63> in
NRSEconfiguration.
DAC0OUT AOG ND Output AnalogChanne l 0 OutputThis pin supplies the voltage
outputof analog output channe l0 . This pin is not available
onthe AT-AI-16XE-10.
DAC1OUT AOG ND Output AnalogChanne l 1 OutputThis pin supplies the voltage
outputof analog output channe l1 . This pin is not available
onthe AT-AI-16XE-10.
EXTREF AOGND Input External ReferenceThis is the external reference input for
theanalog output circuitry. This pin is not available on the
AT-MIO-16XE-10,AT-AI-16XE-10,orAT-MIO-16XE-50.
AOGND AnalogOutput GroundThe analog output voltages are
referencedto this node. All three ground
referencesAIGND,AOGND, and DGNDare connected
togetheron the AT E Series device.
DGND Digital GroundThis pin supplies the reference for the
digitalsignals at the I/O connector as well as the +5 VDC
supply.All three ground referencesAIGND, AOGND,
andDGNDare connected together on the AT E Series
device.
