3.5.6 Security
Figure 11 shows the sub-page for user security (password protection).

Enable Password Protection: Mark this to enable password protection. If password is not set, it will use the factory default password.
Factory default:
Administrator login: admin
Password:salvador
Old Password: To be able to set a new password, the user must know the old password.
New Password: Type the new password. Allowed length is 0 to 20 characters.
Retype New Password: Retype the new password as a security measure.
Change Password: Click this button to activate the new password.
Note: If you forget the password that has been configured, you will need to log on to the unit through the RS232 port. When you are logged on, type “userdb factory_defaults”. This will reset the password to the factory defaults detailed above.
