You can use the procedures in this chapter to customize your phone for the following:

ADJUSTING VOLUME AND DISPLAY SETTINGS

You can adjust the volume or display contrast of the following by pressing the VOLUME key:

•Intercom and incoming ringer

•Handset

•Speaker

•Display contrast of your phone

To adjust the volume of your phone while it is in use

1.Press the VOLUME key:

a. During ringing to adjust the intercom or incoming ring tone.

a.During a call to adjust the handset or speaker volume.

To adjust the ringer volume of your phone while it is idle

1.Press the ON/OFF key.

2.Press the PROG key.

3.Enter 9, then 1 to adjust the incoming ring tone. (The phone produces a tone.)
