A{Auto Answer}

LTo turn the auto answer setting ON/OFF (page

34).

B{Broadcast}

LTo send a document to multiple parties (page 32,

33).

C{Redial/Pause}

LTo redial the last number dialed. If the line is busy

when you send a fax, the unit will automatically

redial the number 1 time.

LTo insert a pause during dialing.

D{Junk Fax Prohibitor}

LTo use junk fax prohibitor (page 36).

E{Caller ID}

LTo view caller information (page 28).

LTo change the display of the caller information

(page 28).

F{Menu}

LTo initiate or exit programming.

G{Quick Scan}

LTo store a scanned document into memory, and

then send it (page 30).

H{Help}

LTo print helpful information for quick reference

(page 20).

I{Stop}

LTo stop an operation or programming session.

LTo delete a character from names and telephone

numbers (page 23).

LTo return to a previous step during operation.

J{Copy}

LTo copy a document (page 39).

KStation keys

LTo use the one-touch dial feature (page 26, 32).

L{Lower}

LTo select stations 6–10 for the one-touch dial

feature (page 26, 32).

M{Manual Broad}

LTo send a document to multiple parties manually

(page 32, 33).

N{Tone}

LTo change from pulse to tone temporarily during

dialing when your line has rotary pulse service.

O{Flash}

LTo access special telephone services or for

transferring extension calls.

P{Monitor}

LTo initiate dialing.

When you press {Monitor} during receiving a

call, you will be able to hear the other party, but

the other party will not be able to hear you.

Q{Handset Mute}

LTo mute your voice to the other party during a

conversation. Press again to resume the

conversation.
