3. Telephone

1 Press {v} or {e}.– The caller information does not include a telephone number.

2Press {HOLD/CLEAR}.

LTo cancel erasing, press {<}, then

{OFF}.

3Press {HOLD/CLEAR} again.

Using the base unit

1Press {MENU} repeatedly to display “CALLER SETUP”.

2Press {SET}.

3Press {SET} again.

LTo cancel erasing, press {STOP}, then

{MENU}.

4Press {SET}.

5Press {STOP}.

3.12.1 Into the handset

LKeep the front cover page open for button locations.

Make sure the handset is not being used.

1Press {v} or {e} repeatedly to display the desired item.

L If the number requires editing, press the right soft key ({EDIT}) (page 42).

2Press {>}.

LTo stop storing, press {<}.

3Press {>} again.

LTo continue storing other items, repeat

from step 1.

LTo exit the programming mode, press

{OFF}.

If there is no name information for the caller, “Enter name” will be displayed.

3.11.2Erasing specific caller information

Using the handset

Make sure the handset is not being used.

1Press {v} or {e} repeatedly to display the desired item.

2Press {HOLD/CLEAR}.

LTo erase other items, repeat from step 1.

3Press {OFF}.

Using the base unit

1Press {CALLER ID}.

2Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to display the desired item.

3Press {ERASE}.

LTo erase other items, repeat steps 2 to 3.

4Press {STOP}.

3.12Storing caller information into the navigator directory

Important:

LThis feature is not available in the following cases.

–The telephone number includes data other than numbers (i.e., * or #).

1.If a name is not required, press {v}. If a name is required, enter the name (page 36). When finished, press {v}.
