Date and Time

For using Voice Date/Time Stamp in answering system operation, you must set the current date and time.

Setting the Current Time

Make sure that the power is ON (p. 12), and the unit is in the standby mode.

1Press .

2Press or until the arrow points

to “Setting Base”, then press .

•“Input Command” is displayed.

3Press .

4Enter the current time (hour and minute) using 4-digit number.

•The entered numbers are displayed.

Ex. 1805 is entered for 18:05.

•A beep sounds.

•The display will return to “Setting

Base”. To return to the standby mode,

press .

Setting the Current Date

Make sure that the power is ON (p. 12), and the unit is in the standby mode.

1Follow steps 1 to 3 on Setting the

Current Time, then press .

2Enter the current date (day, month and year) using 6-digit number.

•The entered numbers are displayed. Ex. 160201 is entered for February 16th, 2001.
