Powering the Camera

	Installing the Battery	1
	Use the rechargeable lithium-ion battery D-LI108 that is provided with	Getting
	the camera.
	Battery lock lever
	Battery lock lever	Started
	Battery/card cover

	Battery

1 Make sure that the camera is turned off and open the battery/card cover.

Slide the battery/card cover in the direction indicated by the arrow 1 and flip the cover open 2.

2 Push the battery lock lever in the direction of the arrow 3 and insert the battery so that the PENTAX logo is facing the lens side of the camera.

Match the marks on the battery to the marks inside the battery compartment and push the battery in until it is locked in place.
