Using Program Keys

If frequently used communication tasks are pre-programmed onto a respective program dialing button, the programmed operating sequence can be recalled by simply selecting the assigned button.

Program dialing does not only simplify repetitive or complex operational sequences but also prevent operator errors.

To use a program key, follow the steps below:

zTo use this feature, the operating sequence must be programmed onto the button in advance. Refer to Setting for Program Dialing (see page 173).

zTo check what operation was pre-programmed onto a program button, confirm by printing the program list. Refer to Printing the Program List (see page 181).

1 Place Original(s).

zRefer to Placing Originals (Facsimile/Internet Fax) in the Operating Instructions (For Basic Operations) of provided booklet.

2 Press the Fax key.

3 Select “Program/Group”.

4 Select the program key.

Communication starts or stores original(s) into memory.
