Using the motion sensor

Controls and displays

10 Touch sensor

Touch sensor is on top of the unit.

Lightly touch the displayed words or symbols to operate controls.

INPUT

Selects the source you want to listen to (Digital 1 to Digital 3, Analog, iPod, HDMI 1 or HDMI 2).

SURROUND

Selects a Surround mode (page 31) or switches to stereo playback (page 33).

ADVANCED

Selects a Pioneer original surround mode (page 32).

VOLUME +/–

Use to adjust the volume.

Using the motion sensor

This system features a motion sensor. Install it in a location that will able to sense the movement of people near by.

The motion sensor detects movement in the left/right and up/down directions within a distance of 2.5 m and an angle of 40º (20º only in the upper direction). Walking towards the unit will reduce the sensing range to 0.7 m.

STEREO

Lights when the Stereo mode is selected or when a stereo source is being played back in the Auto listening mode (page 31).

ADV SURR

Lights when one of the Advanced Surround listening modes is selected (page 32).

F.S.SURR

Lights when one of the Front Stage Surround Advance listening modes is selected (page 33).
