Remote control unit buttons indicated with blue lettering (buttons indicated with asterisk (*) in this section) are used to operate an optional Pioneer Blu-ray disc player. Set the remote control operation selector switch to BD to perform such operations.

1 RECEIVER

Switches the receiver on or into standby.

2 BD

Switches the Blu-ray disc player on or into standby.

3 Input select buttons

Use to select an input source.

See the section Audio input settings from the TVs (TV Input) on page 46 for information regarding the TV button.

4Sound controls

SURROUND

Selects a Surround mode (page 31) or switches to stereo playback (page 33).

ADV SURR

Selects a Pioneer original surround mode (page 32).

5SOUND RETRIEVER

Press to restore CD quality sound to compressed audio sources (page 33).

6 Number buttons

Use to enter a track number or radio station.

7 FL DIMMER*

Press to switch the brightness of the Blu-ray disc player’s display. The FL OFF indicator lights when Off is selected.
