MPI-8 Hardware Installation for the MGC-50

The MPI-8 Network Interface card is inserted into the MGC-50.

The MPI box is mounted on a 19” rack together with the MGC-50, as can be seen in Figure 2-15. The MPI box is mounted directly on the rack, above the MGC-50, leaving at least 6” free space above the MGC-50. For details, on how to mount the MGC-50, refer to the section “Mounting the MGC-50 on a Rack” on page 2-23.
