Notes Caution: Choose envelopes
without
fasteners, clasps,
transparent windows, peel-off strips for sealing, or material that
will melt, vaporize, offset, discolor, or emit dangerous fumes at
the fusing temperature (392° F/200° C). These items will
seriously damage your printer.
Do not print envelopes from the lower input feeder.
Use envelopes with a smooth exterior surface. Envelopes with a rough
surface may jam in the media cassette.
Print
only
on the address side of the envelope.
Envelopes should be dry. Do not preseal envelopes.
Caution:
Envelopes should only be printed from the upper input feeder.
1 In the printer driver (Paper tab, Paper Type option), select Thick Stock.
2 Place the envelopes on a flat surface, and flatten them by pressing down the
corners.
