Charging the Rechargeable Battery
The rechargeable battery needs to be charged before use.
1 Insert the battery, making sure that the

markings on the battery match those on the battery charger.
• The battery label should face up.
Be careful not to reverse the

2 Plug the battery charger into an outlet.

•Charging starts, and the charger lamp indicates the progress, as shown below. Once charging has finished, unplug the power cable from the power outlet.
