■Specifying the checksum

For an actual example, please read the Sys Ex.ASSIGN section “Bend Pitch Control” (p. 144)
1.Press the [CHECKSUM] key before you input the byte at which checksum calculation should begin.
The display will indicate “CSS” (Checksum Start).
If you press the [CHECKSUM] key once again, “CSS” (Checksum
Start) will be cancelled.
2.Press the [ENTER] button.
3.Continue inputting data.
4.Press the [CHECKSUM] key at the location where the checksum should be inserted.
The display will indicate “CS1” (Checksum type 1).
5. Press the [ENTER] button.

If you want to switch to type 2, press the [2] key after you press [CHECKSUM] in step 4. To switch back to type 1, press the [1] key.
