Installing the Driver

Hardware Requirements

To install and run the PCL printer driver, you must have the following minimum hardware configuration.

•Windows 95 or Windows 98

-PC-compatible 486 computer or better.

-32MB RAM

-200MB available hard-disk space.

•Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000

-PC-compatible pentium 133MHz computer or better.

-64MB RAM

-650MB available hard-disk space.

•CD-ROM Drive.

Software Requirements

To install and run the printer driver, you must be running one of the following platforms.

•Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000.

•Macintosh System 7.5 or later.

Install Procedure

To install the printer driver on your hard disk, make backup copies of the print driver CD. Keep the original CD in a safe place and use the copies.

Notes: I do not have a CD-ROM driver

If you have access to another computer with a CD-ROM drive, you can use the Make diskette utility in Windows to create the disks you need for the installation. Go to Appendix E, “Installing Software form Diskettes”
