DVD Camcorder: Before Recording
Inserting and Removing a Disc
 When inserting a disc or closing the disc cover, do not
	apply excessive force. It may cause a malfunction.			1
 You cannot open the disc cover while loading.
 Set the [Mode] switch to [DISC] (VP-DC163(i)/
	DC165W(i)/DC165WB(i) only) and the [Power]
	switch to [		(Camera)] to view menus and
	messages displayed on the LCD Screen.
Inserting a Disc
1.	Push the [OPEN] switch in the direction of the arrow.
2.		The disc cover will partially open.		3
	Gently open the cover the rest of the way by hand.
3.	Push the disc into the disc compartment until a click
	is heard.
		The recording side of the disc must face the inside
		of the DVD camcorder.
4.		Do not touch the pickup lens.
	Gently push the section marked [PUSH CLOSE] on the
	disc cover to close it.
		Once inserted, the disc is recognised and the
		[ACCESS] indicator blinks. Do not cut off the power		4
		supply during this time. Do not shake nor apply
		impact.	It may cause a malfunction.
Notes

Move the Hand Strap so it does not interfere with inserting or ejecting the disc.

The disc cover can be opened when the device is connected to an AC power adapter or the battery pack, even if the power is off.

Caution This product utilizes a laser. Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure. Do not open covers and do not look inside the product if interlock mechanism is damaged.

Warning Be careful not to damage the interlock mechanism.

设置模式[Mode]开关到光盘[DISC](仅限VP-

		DC163(i)/DC165W(i)/DC165WB(i))，然后选择
		电源[Power]开关到摄录[		(Camera)]模式，
		查看显示在LCD屏上的菜单和信息。
	插入光盘
	1.	按照箭头方向推动打开[OPEN]开关。
			光盘盒盖随即部分打开。
	2.	用手轻轻地将盒盖完全打开。
	3.	将光盘推入光盘舱直至听到“咔哒”一声。
			光盘的录像面必须朝向DVD摄像机的内部。
			请不要触摸摄像镜头。
	4.	轻推光盘盒盖上标有[PUSH CLOSE]的位置，关闭
		盒盖。
			机器识别到光盘后，数据指示灯[ACCESS]会
			闪烁。这时不要切断电源，不要使机器震动
			受到外力冲击，否则会发生故障。
	注意
		移动手带，使它不会妨碍光盘的插入或弹出。
		将设备连接至交流电源适配器或电池组时，即使
		电源已关闭，也可以打开光盘盖。
	注意
	本产品使用激光。如果您未按本文的规定使用控
	制、调节或执行操作，则可能会遭受危险的激光辐
	射。若连锁机制已经损坏，请不要打开机盖或直视
	产品内部。
	警告
pickup lens	请务必小心不要损坏连锁机制。
