:Press to launch the Media player.

When you view a picture/video or listen to a melody, the application (e.g. Camera, Messages, My stuff) starts the media player automatically.

The media player functions are accessible via 4 tabs: Music, Pictures, Videos and Bookmarks.

The media player contains files stored on the phone memory as well as files stored on the RS MultiMediaCard (those files are marked).

Additional information

An incoming call puts playback in the background automatically (page 23).

Music

The music tab includes, for example, MP3 and AAC files. For fast access, the tracks are sorted by the following categories:

Playlists: Display configured/new playlists (page 106).

Recent: Display the 20 most recently played tracks (up to 25).

All: Display all saved tracks sorted by track name.

The playback is started. At the end of the track, the next track in the list/playlist is played automatically.

Additional information

If playback was started from another appli- cation, e.g. My Stuff, playback stops at the end of the track.
