Offline mode Phone is not switched off, but has no connectivity (page 18).
The shutdown animation (page 114) is displayed.
Additional information
The shutdown is interrupted, if:
•some files occur to be not saved or
•the phone is receiving an MMS.
A warning message is displayed. Press §Yes§ to continue shutdown. Files are not saved. Message is received when phone is switched on again.
Only to be used in real emergencies!
By pressing the softkey §SOS§ you can make an emergency call on any network without a SIM card and without entering a PIN (not available in all countries).

If key lock is active (page 7) only emergen-
cy numbers can be dialled: Enter number and press §SOS§.
