Command Groups

The system commands can be broken down into the functional groups shown below.

Flash/File	Manages code image or switch configuration files	4-61
Authentication	Configures logon access using local or remote authentication;	4-67

Access Control List	Provides filtering for IP frames (based on address, protocol, TCP/UDP	4-85
	port number or TCP control code) or non-IP frames (based on MAC
	address or Ethernet type)
SNMP	Activates authentication failure traps; configures community access	4-99
	strings, and trap managers; also configures IP address filtering
Interface	Configures the connection parameters for all Ethernet ports,	4-104
	aggregated links, and VLANs
Mirror Port	Mirrors data to another port for analysis without affecting the data	4-115
	passing through or the performance of the monitored port
Rate Limiting	Controls the maximum rate for traffic transmitted or received on a port	4-117
