timeout login response
This command sets the interval that the system waits for a user to log into the CLI.
Use the no form to restore the default.
Syntax
timeout login response [seconds]
no silent-time
seconds - Integer that specifies the timeout interval.
(Range: 0- 300 seconds; 0: disabled)
Default Setting
CLI: Disabled (0 seconds)
Telnet: 600 seconds

Command Usage
If a login attempt is not detected within the timeout interval, the connection is
terminated for the session.
This command applies to both the local console and Telnet co nnections.
The timeout for Telnet cann ot be disabled.
Using the command without specifying a timeout restores the default setting.
Example
To set the timeout to two minutes, enter this command:
