Using the Bluetooth SettingsMenu

TheBluetooth Settingsmenu allows you to set up many of the

characteristics of your phone’s Bluetooth service, including:

vEntering or changing the name your phone uses for

Bluetooth communication

vSetting your phone’s visibility (or “discoverability”) for

other Bluetooth devices

vDisplaying your phone’s Bluetooth address

To access the Bluetooth Settings menu:

1. Press Menu > Settings/Tools > Settings > Bluetooth.

2. Use the navigation key to selectVisibilityor

Device Info,and press .

Bluetooth Settings: Device Name

TheDevice Namesection of the Bluetooth Settings menu

allowsyou to selecta Bluetooth name for your phone. Your

phone’s Bluetooth name will appear to other in-range

Bluetooth devices, depending on your visibility settings.

TosetaBluetooth name for your phone:

1. Press Menu > Settings/Tools > Settings > Bluetooth >

DeviceName.

2. Press to clear the currentname.

3. Use your keypad or QWERTY keyboardto enter a new

name and press to save and exit. (See “Entering Text”
