Using the Bluetooth SettingsMenu

The BluetoothSettings menu allows you to set up many of the characteristics of your phone’s Bluetooth service, including:

Entering or changing the name your phone uses for Bluetooth communication

Setting your phone’s visibility (or “discoverability”) for other Bluetooth devices

Displaying your phone’s Bluetooth address

ToaccesstheBluetoothSettingsmenu:

1.Press Menu>Settings/Tools>Settings>Bluetooth.

2.Use the navigation key to select Visibility or DeviceInfo, and press .

Bluetooth Settings: Device Name

The DeviceName section of the Bluetooth Settings menu allows you to select a Bluetooth name for your phone. Your phone’s Bluetooth name will appear to other in-range Bluetooth devices, depending on your visibility settings.

Toset aBluetoothnameforyourphone:

1.Press Menu>Settings/Tools>Settings>Bluetooth> DeviceName.

2.Press to clear the current name.

3.Use your keypad or QWERTY keyboard to enter a new

name and press to save and exit. (See “Entering Text” on page 37.)
