Adding a Customized Signature
Add a customized signature to each message you send.
1. Press Menu > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messaging >
Signature > Custom.(If you do notwish to attach a
signature to your outgoing messages, selectNone.)
2. Enter a signature and press . (See “Entering Text”on
page 37.)
Managing PresetMessages
Your phone is loaded with 20presetmessages to help make
sending textmessages easier. Customize or delete these
messages, such as “Where are you?,”“Let’s getlunch,”and
“Meetme at”to suit your needs, or add your own messages to
the list.
Toeditor delete a presetmessage:
1. Press Menu > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messaging >
PresetMessages.(The list of preset messages will be
displayed.)
2. Toeditor delete a presetmessage, highlight it and
press .
3. Scroll to Editand press , edit the selected message
(see “Entering Text”on page 37), and press .
–or –
Scroll to Delete and press , and then selectYes to delete
the selected message. (SelectNo to cancel the deletion.)
Toadd a newpresetmessage:
1. Press Menu > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messaging >
PresetMessages.(The list of preset messages will be
displayed.)
2. To add a new message, select<Add New>.
