●Alwayskeep the EP-L cartridgewith the label facingup. Do not turn it upsidedown or stand it on end. The tonermay becomecaked,and this causesprint qualityto deteriorate.

●Usethecartridgebeforetheexpirydateprintedon the carton.Otherwise, print qualitymay deteriorate.

●Use only genuineEP-L cartridgesas ~commendedby your supplier.

Followthe instructionsbelowto installtheEP-Lcartridgefor thefirsttime, or replacean used one.

1.Open the multi-purposetray and the side cover as describedin “2.1.6 Openingand Closingthe Printer”.

2.If youare installingtheEP-Lcartridgefor the firsttime,skipto step 3. If youamreplacingtheoldEP-Lcartridge,removeitbypullingitbythetab.

NOTE: If it is difficultto removethe EP-Lcartridge,pressthe greenlever locatedat the right, and try again.
