thealuminumbaginwhichitwasoriginallypacked,orcoveritwith
athickclothto protect itfrom directlight.

Whenopeningtheprinter’ssidecover,donotstopit inthehalf-way.This
will open the protective shutterof the drum, and light will permanently
damage the drum.
Donot placeanythingbesidethepnnter.Itmaydamagethemulti-purpose
traywhen thetray isopened.
Donotput anythinginor onthemulti-purposetrayexceptpaper,anddo
notpress thetray downward.
CAUTION: The partsof theprinter shaded in the illustrationbelow become
extremely hotwhen the printer is used. To avoid any ptmonal
injury, do not touch these parts when the printer is open.
Althoughthe printer’scover is closed while printing,it will need to be
openedwhenreplacingtheEP-Lcartridgewhenclearingpaperjams. Open
