IMPORTANT NOTE!

Normal operation is impossible unless Loop Mode is Off. When this mode is on, [Loop Mode] is displayed in the upper right of the Status Screen.

The level meters are disabled in Loop Mode: Far, and the middle LED of each is lit as a reminder.

Contacts Out Lets you program the parallel contacts for testing1 Normal (Contacts reflect incoming Ancillary Data)

0000, 0001, 0010, 0011...

...1111 (Any 4-bit pattern can be forced to parallel contacts when you press EDIT)

Microphones Opens the Microphones submenu

Mic 1 Opens the Microphone 1 submenu

Sensitivity Selects the nominal level for a full scale reading on the me- ters with the microphone’s level control fully up.

High +60dB for most ribbon mics

Mid +45dB for most dynamic and condenser mics LowÊ+30dB for hot condenser mics or dynamic mics in very loud surroundings.

LineÊ+1dB to use the input with line-level sources.

HOT TIP!

The MIC 1 routing LEDs also function as preamp clipping indicators. If theyÕre lighting up in red, lower the sensitivity.
