ISDN TIP!

When you confirm a change of Switch Type, ZephyrExpress tries to resynchronize the line.

If youÕre sure youÕve entered the correct type but the Status screen doesnÕt show Ready Ready, try changing the type to something else and confirming. Then change it back and confirm again: this often fixes a balky line.

These numbers usually donÕt have punctuation. If the installer has given you numbers with hyphens or parentheses, enter the numerals only.

Outside line prefix Number to be automatically applied before dialing. Used when an internal phone system requires an access code — such as 9 — to reach outside numbers.

HOT TIP!

You can also use the Outside line prefix to pre-dial a Ò1010-xxxÓ code for an al- ternative long distance carrier. But if you wonÕt be able to dial local numbers un- til you remove this prefix.
