Whether or not you need to configure the computer with these options depends primarily on the kind of software or peripherals you use.

(a)CPU Cache

Use this option to enable or disable the CPU cache.

Enabled

Enables the CPU cache. (Default)

Disabled

Disables the CPU cache.

(b)Level 2 Cache

Use this option to enable or disable the level 2 cache. When "CPU Cache" is set to "Disabled", this option is not displayed.

Enabled

Enables the level 2 cache. (Default)

Disabled

Disables the level 2 cache.

(c)Dynamic CPU Frequency mode

Use this option to choose a setting from the followings.

Dynamically Switchable

 

Enables Pentium-M processor featuring Intel SpeedStep

 

technology. (Default)

Always High

Disables Pentium-M processor featuring Intel

 

SpeedStep technology and always runs the processor at

 

its maximum speed.

Always Low

Disables Pentium-M processor featuring Intel

 

SpeedStep technology and always runs the processor at

 

its default speed.

(d)Auto Power On

This option displays setting for Auto Power On.

Disabled

Indicates auto power on is not set.

Enabled

Indicates auto power on is set.

When “Enabled” is selected, the following sub-window appears.
