This function insures, there will be a period of time set aside for receiving incoming facsimiles during periods of heavy outgoing transmission activity. After every fourth consecutive transmission, this machine will wait 0 to 15 minutes to allowing in-coming facsimiles to be received (Default is different for each country).

1 Display the RECEIVE INTERVAL Menu.

Press: then

42 Using the or key, select the desired interval value (0 to 15) in minutes, then press the key.

ECM (Error Correction Mode) is an internationally-recognized error correction system. It enables error free communications by automatically resending any portion of the document affected by phone line noise or distortion.
