1. DELAYED COMMUNICATION (TIME DESIGNATION)

This function allows you to send originals to a remote FAX at a specified time and specified day. This
function comes in handy when you want to make use of off-peak discounts (e.g. night-time) and make
use of time differences when sending overseas. You can reserve a transmission up to one month in
advance.
You can set the time (hours/minutes) and the day (DD).
2Place the original.
For details on how to place originals on the original glass.

3Set the scanning conditions. ( See pages 2-10 to
2-15.)
4Press the key (on the Function key panel).
5Enter the time (hours/minutes) and day (DD) using
the digital keys. Press the or key to move the
cursor.
6Press the key to complete settings.
To cancel setting midway, press the key.
To correct the entered value, highlight the character using
the key and overwrite on it.
The time function corresponds to the date and time setting
within the Copier functions. (Refer to the Operators Manual
(For Copying Functions).)
Select “AM or “PM when the time is displayed in the
12-hour format.
7Specify the remote FAX, and press the key. SCANNING TO MEMORY
