You can use the fax image memory to carry out the following:

(3)Copying during memory TX

(4)Reception storage during copying

(6)Auto receive during printing of lists

(7)Memory transmission during printing of reports

(8)Internet FAX when the option board is installed.

Tip

“Memory transmission” and “memory reception” refers to sending and receiving originals in image memory.

High-resolution (U-FINE) mode

Detailed technical drawings, fine text and photographs can be sent clearly at a resolution of 16 dots/ mm x 15.4 lines/mm and 256 level harftone.

Multi-address transmission

You can send the same originals to up to 475 remote FAXes in a single operation by direct dialing, or by specifying remote FAXes using the speed dials, groups, or one touch keys.

Weekly timer mode

The printer heater is turned OFF during predetermined periods so that you can save energy.

A3 transmission and recording

You can send LD (A3)-size originals such as technical drawings at their original size. A3-size originals received on the FAX can also be output at their original size.

High-speed scanning*

LT-R (A4-R)-size originals are scanned in about 1.3 seconds (e-STUDIO16), 1.8 seconds (e-STUDIO20/ 25).

Duplex transmission

You can scan two-sided originals on the reversing automatic document feeder and send them in page order.

User friendly guidance

Operation guidance is shown clearly on the message display. The display shows, for example, the method for changing the communication mode, or how to clear the paper jam.

Expandable by adding a wide range of options

You can also add on a job separator for selecting different trays for outputting FAX received originals, copies and printer outputs. So you can customize your digital copier to suit your particular requirements.
