Basic setting, TX stamp (option)

Each document that has been success- fully sent can be marked with a stamp. Ask your TOSHIBA dealer for a stamp.

The TX stamp is only used as transmission confirmation if you

have set transmission without memory (see page 36).

Basic setting, superfine reception (only TF 861)

With this facility, you are able to decide whether your fax machine is also able to use superfine resolution for receiving documents. The superfine resolution places a certain amount of strain on the receiving memory. Under unfavourable conditions, a document might not be received completely with this resolution if memory capacity is exhausted. For this reason, it is recommended that this function be used only if a memory expansion has been installed (see page 9).
