If the operator listens into a fax transmis- sion, the call establishment attempt is played back via the built-in speaker. This provides you with an additional acoustic check of the call establishment proce- dure. This is a valuable asset whenever a call is not established. The reason is frequently a wrong number or a fax ma- chine which is not ready to receive.

With this listening-in version, the document is read into memory.

The listening-in facility is linked to the job as an additional option.

Please follow the descriptions of page 91 if all outgoing fax transmissions are to be played back via the loudspeaker.
