I am unable to make a

Step 1: Make sure that the PC is turned on and logged into Windows. Ensure USB cable is

Step 2: Make sure you have an AIM or MSN/WLM account already set up.

 

Step 3: Open browser and go to www.vtechphones.com to check that your internet connection

 

 

is working. If your internet does not work, contact your Internet Service Provider.

 

Step 4: Close IS6110 Software. Try logging into AIM or MSN/WLM on your computer and

 

 

attempt to make a VoIP call. Make sure the speakers and microphone volume are

 

 

turned up. Make sure the person you are calling has a version of AIM or MSN/WLM

 

 

with VoIP capability. If you are unable to make a VoIP call through AIM or MSN/WLM,

 

 

you will not be able to make a VoIP call through the IS6110 phone.

 

Step 5:

If you are unable to use AIM or MSN/WLM on your computer, it may be due to a firewall

 

 

software or hardware such as a router. You may need to configure your firewall software

 

 

or hardware to allow AIM or MSN to go through the ports required by AOL or Microsoft.

 

 

The settings below are provided by AIM and MSN/WLM to configure the ports and are

 

 

not a requirement of VTech. If you need assistance in configuring your firewall settings,

 

 

please contact the software or hardware manufacturer of your firewall or router.
