6Insert the guide pins on the right side of the new fu ser
into the guide holes of the printer.
7Secure the fuser:
1Press down on the left side of the fuser.
2Move the lever to its original position.
8Close the rear cover.
9To complete the installation procedure, refer to the
installation instructions in your maintenance kit. If you
have misplaced the maintenance kit instructions package,
contact Customer Support Center.
10 Reconnect the printer’s power cord and power on the
printer.
11 Check the Control Panel display. When the printer has
completed its power on diagnostics, the display should
show Ready. If an error message is displayed, refer to Table
5.1 on page 5-5 for instructions.
