10 Using two people, lift the printer up and lower it slowly
and gently onto the feeder, aligning the three stubs on the
top of the feeder with the holes on the bottom of the
printer.
Lowering the printer too fast may damage internal
components.
11 Secure the printer to the feeder with the two supplied
screws (from inside the printer).
12 Load paper into the feeder (refer to Chapter 2 of the User
Guide for details, if necessary).
13 Replace any tray(s) removed from the feeder(s).
14 Reconnect the printer’s power cord and power on the
printer.
15 Check the Control Panel display. When the printer has
completed its power on diagnostics, the display should
show Ready. If an error message is displayed, refer to Table
5.1 on page 5-5 for instructions.
16 If you have no other options to install, print a
Configuration Sheet (see page 1-102) and check it to
confirm that the option(s) have been properly installed.
