Test Tone

Use this feature to select whether to turn on or off the test tone output while you are adjusting the tonal quality of each speaker.

Press 4l / h to adjust the parameter.

Press 4k / n to adjust the “Gain”.

Press 4ENTER to exit the edit window.

When you select “Band” in step 3, you can use this menu as a graphic equalizer.

The “Band #1” and “Band #2” can adjust the frequencies below of 198.4 Hz.

When you select “Subwoofer” in step 1 and “Band” in step 3, you can adjust “Band #1” and “Band #2” only.

5Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you are satisfied with the results.

If you want to reset all “Parametric EQ” parameter settings for the selected speaker, select “RESET” and press

4ENTER.

6Select “EXIT” and press 4ENTER to exit the settings window.

Tone Control (Tone control)

Use this feature to adjust the balance of bass and treble output to your speakers or headphones.

Note

Tone Control is not effective when:

PURE DIRECT (see page 51) is selected.

MULTI CH INPUT is selected as the input source.

“Speaker” and “Headphone” adjustments are stored independently. The adjustments for “Speaker” affects the front left/right, center, presence left/right speaker channels and Subwoofer channel.

Bass (Bass control)

Use this feature to adjust low-frequencies output to your speakers or headphones.

Choices: 125Hz, 350Hz, 500Hz

Control range: – 6.0 dB to +6.0 dB

Initial setting: 0.0 dB
