When tuned into a station, the TUNED indicator lights up and the frequency of the received station is shown on the front panel display.

■Manual tuning

If the signal from the station you want to select is weak, you must tune into it manually. Manually tuning into an FM station will automatically change the reception mode to monaural reception to increase the signal quality.

1Rotate the INPUT selector to select TUNER

as the input source.

2Press FM/AM to select the reception band.

“FM” or “AM” appears on the front panel display.

3Press TUNING MODE (AUTO/MAN’L) so that the AUTO indicator lights up on the front panel display.

1Select TUNER and the reception band following steps 1 and 2 as described in “Automatic tuning”.

2Press TUNING MODE (AUTO/MAN’L) so that the AUTO indicator disappears from the front panel display.
