6-1. GUIDE BAR MAINTENANCE

WARNING

Ensure that the power cord is disconnected before performing any maintenance on your saw.

EProper maintenance of the guide bar, as explained in this section, is essential to keep your N saw in good working order.

GSPROCKET TIP LUBRICATION:

L(For units supplied with sprocket tip guide bars only.)

I CAUTION

HFailure to lubricate the guide bar sprocket tip as explained below will result in poor performance and seizure, voiding the manufacturer’s warranty.

Lubrication of the sprocket tip is recommended after each saw use. Always thoroughly clean the guide bar sprocket tip before lubrication.

Tool for lubrication: McCulloch Lube Gun (disposable)

This grease gun is designed to fit the small lubrication point on the guide bar.

6-1. ENTRETIEN DU GUIDE-CHAINE

A ATTENTION

I Si la roulette du guide-chaîne n’est pas lubrifiee (voir ci-dessous) la tronçonneuse aura des «secousses» S et une mauvaise performance, et ceci annulera la garantie du fabricant.

Il est recommandé de lubrifier la roulette après chaque usage. Nettoyer toujours complètement la roulette du guide-chaîne avant sa lubrification.

Outil de lubrification : McCulloch’s Lube Gun (à jeter)

Cette burette est équipée d’un bec-aiguille permettant l’accès au point de lubrification sur le guide-chaîne.

L La falla en lubricar el piñón de la barra guía como se explica abajo resultará en una baja eficienca y sacu- didas, anulando la garantía del fabricante.

La lubricación del piñón después de cada uso. Siempre limpie completamente el piñón de la barra guía anes de la lubricación.

Herramienta para la lubricación: McCulloch’s Lube Gun (desechable)

Esta pistola para grasa esta diseñada para cubrir el pequeño punto de lubricación en la barre guía.
