The UPS module should be located in a cool, dry,
All models in the ‘Hipulse’ UPS range are cooled with the aid of internal fans. Cooling air enters the module through ventilation grills located at various parts of the cabinet and exhausted through grills located on the back of UPS. When the cabinet is located on a raised floor, and bottom cable entry is used, additional cooling air also enters the UPS via the floor void. If necessary, a system of extractor fans should be installed to aid cooling

Note 2: Power losses from the System which may be used in an air conditioning system are intended for operation using the Inverter, as in the ECOMODE configuration they would be undersized.
2.2.2Battery location
Temperature is a major factor in determining the battery life and capacity. Battery manufacturers quote figures for an operating temperature of 20oC. Operating above this temperature will reduce the battery life, operation below this temperature will reduce the battery capacity. On a normal installation the battery temperature is maintained between 15oC and 25oC. Batteries should be mounted in an environment where the temperature is consistent and even over the whole battery. Keep batteries away from main heat sources or main air inlets etc.
