Reverse Sewing Lever

 

To sew in reverse, press down the reverse sewing lever as far as possi- ble and hold it in that position while lightly stepping on the foot con- troller. To sew forward, release the reverse sewing lever. Reverse sew- ing is used for locking and reinforcing seams. (See fig. A.)

Drop Feed Lever (when the machine is

 

equipped with a drop feed lever)

 

Use the drop feed lever to raise or lower the feed dogs according to the

job that is being done. When monogramming, embroidering, darning

or sewing on buttons, the feed dogs should be lowered so that the

 

 

garment will not be fed. (See fig. B.)

Palanca de retroceso

Para coser hacia atrás, baje completamente la palanca de retroceso y manténgala en esa posición mientras presiona ligeramente el pe- dal. Para volver a coser hacia adelante, vuelva a subir la palanca de retroceso. La costura hacia atrás se usa para terminar y reforzar costuras. (Ver fig. A.)

Palanca de alimentación de bajada (cuando la máquina está equipada con una palanca de alimentación de bajada)

Use la palanca de bajada para subir o bajar los dientes dependiendo del trabajo efectuado. Para hacer monogramas, bordados, zurcidos o para coser botones, es necesario bajar los alimentadores para que no alimenten el tejido. (Ver fig. B.)

Levier de couture en marche arrière

Pour coudre en arrière, abaisser au maximum le levier de couture en marche arrière, et le maintenir dans cette position tout en appuyant légèrement sur la pédale. Pour coudre à nouveau vers l’avant, relâcher le levier. Utiliser la couture en marche arrière pour arrêter ou renforcer une couture. (Voir fig. A.)

Levier des griffes d’entraînement (lorsque la machine est équipée d’un levier d’abais- sement des griffes d’entraînement)

Utiliser le levier des griffes d’entraînement pour faire ressortir ou abaisser les griffes en fonction du travail demandé. Lors de la réalisation de mono- grammes, de broderies, de reprisages ou de la pose de boutons, les griffes d’entraînement doivent être abaissées. (Voir fig. B.)
