PPPoE

PPPoE is often used for DSL connection. To set up the Router for use with a PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet) connection, use the following procedure:

1Enter your user name in the Username field.

2Enter your password in the Password field.

3Re-type your password in the Retype Password field.

4Enter your VPI and VCI information in the VPI/VCI fields.

5Select the encapsulation type (LLC or VC MUX) in the Encapsulation drop-down menu. This information should be provided to you by your ISP.

Check all of your settings, and then click Next.

The LAN Settings screen will then be displayed (refer to Figure 32).
