6Disconnect the keyboard cable and remove the old keyboard.
7Connect the cable from the new keyboard into the connector.
8Insert the tabs on the front edge of the keyboard into the slots under the palm rest. You may need to press down on the keyboard keys along the front and side edges of the keyboard to seat the retaining tabs into their corresponding slots.
9Gently press down on the top and side of the keyboard until it is properly secured by the latches.
10Reinstall the battery.
