computer. In addition, these tips are useful when traveling
inte rna tiona lly:
•When traveling in another c ountry, chec k that the loc al AC voltage
and the AC adapter power cord specifications are compatible. If
not, p urc ha se a p owe r c ord tha t is c om p a tib le with the loc a l AC
voltage. Do not use converter kits sold for appliances to power
the c ompute r.
•If you are using the modem, chec k if the modem and connector is
c ompa tible with the te lec ommunic a tions system of the c ountry
you are traveling in.
