Built-in network feature
The built-in network feature allows you to c onnec t your c omputer to
an Ethernet-based (10/100 Mbps) network.
To use the network feature, connect an Ethernet cable from the
ne twork ja c k on the rea r of the c ompute r to a ne twork ja c k or hub on
your network.
Fast infrared
The computer’s fa st infra red (FIR) port allows you to do wireless da ta
transfer with other IR-aware c omputers and peripherals suc h as
infrared printers. The infrared port c an transfer data at speeds of up
to four me ga bits p e r se c ond (Mb p s) a t a dista nc e of up to one me te r.
